THE ROBERT E FULTON III COLLECTION      (REF3)

German: LEBENSKUNSTLER - Translation: LIFE ARTIST

Robert E Fulton III is considered by many to be one of the best aerial cinematographers in the world (and a damn good pilot), He has flown hundreds of thousands of miles in the pursuit of creating breathtaking aerial cinema. His artistic vision transcended time and space and his extensive projects took him on adventures that few human beings would dare. Fulton once said that for him "flying is a kind of dreaming awake". He was an architect of his own achievements, a "life artist" in the true sense of the german word lebenskunstler. His work encompasses print, photography, prose, music and film. His book "Pilot Notes" was inspired by an epic aerial journey filming in seven South American countries. Shooting with an Arriflex C 35mm camera, Fulton created a body of work that is timeless. In this age where superlatives are so often thrown around, Fulton's South America aerial film and still imagery is recognized as a creation of direct visual impact and immense beauty. The footage seen in this demo is just a quick look at this brilliant archive consisting of more than One Hundred Thousand feet of 35 mm motion picture film - now entirely in digital ProRes 444 - available for licensing. Other aerial works include Central America, America's Southwest, Dominican Republic, Ancient Civilizations and an extenive catalogue of avante garde experimental  films, some of which are in private collectors and museums.
